In a meeting that’s expected to last two days we are set to hear from more than 100 Calgarians on the Housing Strategy. And judging by the public submissions thus far, it looks like Calgarians are largely in support of the strategy and want council to take action.
More Neighbours Calgary will be MC-ing the rally at noon. We hope you can join us and our fellow advocates and make a true show of strength to tell council how serious we are. Feel free to say hi after!
This is the first of what is likely to be many votes and potential hurdles towards housing affordability in Calgary - you will be hearing from us in the future.
